Bringing Silicon Valley to Commercial Vehicles

A team of Stanford University graduate engineers founded Motiv Power Systems to create the next generation of electric-drive vehicles. They are experts in the fields of software, power electronics, thermal design, and controls and have advanced degrees in these fields.  The team maintains strong ties to academia and is well-versed in cutting-edge technologies in the power semiconductor, simulation, modeling, control, and embedded/real-time software domains.  They have written fourteen journal articles, presented in many forums as EV industry experts, and have successfully designed, simulated, and implemented many EV-related projects. They were recipients of the 2009 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award.
